      Diabetes as a condition can be controlled but not cured completely. It can only be managed with a good lifestyle and diet.
      It could be possible that your sugar is under control as of now based on a particular kind of diet that you have in practice but there is always the tendency blood sugar fluctuation ( this also is dependent on many other factors)and once you lose control on the diet and lifestyle it can escalate the condition.
