Preparation Time– 15 minutes

Ingredients                                                                      

  • Jackfruit Flour – 180 gm                
  • ButterMilk – 140 gm                        
  • Salt – a pinch        
  • Stevia – 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp                
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 tsp
  • Eggs – 2
  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp        

    Method                                                        

  • Mix jackfruit flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon powder together and sieve it once.                                                        
  • Add the buttermilk and egg slowly and keep whisking until desired consistency and batter is smooth. without any lumps.                                                        
  • Lightly Oil your waffle iron & pour the batter and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until fully cooked.                        
  • Plate and enjoy with your desired sugar free toppings.

Multigrain Waffles

Multigrain flour helps in managing diabetes and also aids weight loss. Therefore, it is the perfect recipe for making your breakfast super special.

Ingredients                                                        

  • Multigrain Flour Mix – 180 gm        
  • Buttermilk – 80 gms                        
  • Mix seeds ( Flax, sunflower etc) – 20 gms                
  • Salt – a pinch                
  • Stevia- 1 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp        
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp        
  • Eggs – 3

Method                

  • Mix all the dry ingredients together.                
  • Add Buttermilk, egg, and vanilla essence together.                                        
  • Start mixing the wet and dry ingredients while constantly whisking to avoid lumps in the batter        
  • Spoon the mixture on lightly greased waffles till about 2/3rds of the iron is covered and let it cook.

Almond Flour Waffles ( Keto)

Almond Flour has a low glycemic index. It also has fewer sugars and carbohydrates as compared to whole wheat flour. It can help in effectively managing a person’s blood sugar levels.   • Almond Flour- 180 gms        
  • Milk – 100 ml        
  • Salt- a pinch

Method                                                

  • Mix all the ingredients together to form a lump free & Smooth batter

Black Wheat Waffles (Eggless)

Add an interesting twist to your everyday waffle recipe by adding black wheat flour. Black wheat is suitable for diabetic patients as it helps in lowering their sugar levels. It also has 60% more concentration of iron than your normal wheat flour and also contains a good amount of zinc.

Preparation Time- 15 minutes

Ingredients        

  • Black wheat flour – 120 gms        
  • Milk – 300 ml
  • Salt – a pinch        
  • Stevia – 1/2 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1 tsp        
  • Cinnamon powder – ¼  tsp        
  • Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
  • Olive Oil/ refined Oil/ Butter – 1 tablespoon                                        

Method                                                

  • Mix all the dry ingredients together and set aside                                        
  • Slightly warm up the Milk and add olive oil/ butter to it and mix well, add vanilla essence                                                        
  • Start pouring the milk mixture into the dry ingredients & constantly whisk to avoid lumps                                                
  • Add more water/ milk if required         
  • Spoon the batter on a preheated waffle maker and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.        



Quinoa and Flaxseed Meal Waffle (Vegan)        

Quinoa contains a higher amount of dietary fiber than other grains. The high amounts of protein and fiber present in quinoa flour makes it a good choice for diabetics, as it helps in managing their blood sugar level.   • Almond milk/Soy Milk – 100 ml        
  • Sparkling Water/ Soda – 40 ml

Method
                                                                        

  • Mix all the ingredients together in a smooth batter.                                        
  • Preheat the waffle maker.        
  • Lightly Oil your waffle iron and pour the batter in the waffle maker. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until fully cooked                                                        
  • Plate and enjoy with your desired sugar free toppings.
