Apple & Walnut Oats Kheer

Add a twist to your regular kheer with this recipe.

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup grated apple (unpeeled)
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups low-fat milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened sugar

Preparation :

  1. Take a bowl. 
  2. Add grated apples and chopped walnuts. Mix well. 
  3. Add the oats to a pan.
  4. Pour in the milk. Stir occasionally.
  5. Cook this mix on low flame.
  6. Finally add the unsweetened sugar or you could add some honey.
  7. Serve.
