- 2 cups Sarson / Poi/ Haak
- 1 cup Spinach
- 6-7 Cloves Garlic roughly chopped
- 1 inch Ginger – roughly chopped
- 1 Onion roughly chopped
- 1 Tomato roughly chopped
- 1-2 Dry Red Chilli
- 1 tsp Hing
- 1 tsp Coriander
- ½ tsp Jeera
- ½ tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- ¼ tsp Garam Masala
- ½ tbsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tsp haldi
- 2-3 tbsp Mustard Oil
- In a heated kadhai, pour in mustard oil and allow it to reach its smoking point.
- To this kadhai, add whole spices, followed by onions, ginger, and garlic.
- For the next step, add tomatoes and sprinkle the dry masalas. without becoming overly mushy.
- Combine all the greens and continue cooking until the excess water has evaporated.
- This Junglee Saag pairs perfectly with a multigrain roti.
